Pear Tree Farm is a purpose built guest house with a group training or function room ideal for business meetings, conference or course venue and corporate seminars, team building events, activities and workshops.

Our beautifully appointed guest house offers modern, comfortable serviced en-suite accommodation in 9 double or twin bedded en-suite rooms with IT facilities and WiFi, and catering (up to approx 25) in the form of excellent home cooked cuisine from local produce with choices from 3 course meal to hot buffet.

The area provides an inspiring venue for your business groups, corporate event, group training or course venue being located in the heart of rural Derbyshire at Lea Bridge in close proximity to Matlock, Chatsworth and the Derbyshire Dales.

Many local walks door to door, historical mills and places of interest as well as water sports, cycling, climbing, potholing for the more adventurous await you. Please ask if you wish us to organise an activity or recommend a place e.g. “go ape” at Buxton, Carsington reservoir, Horse Riding or ride in a horse drawn carriage, even Clay Pigeon shooting nearby.

Pear Tree Farm was a former 17th century corn mill previously owned by Florence Nightingale and is surrounded by its own 76 acres of beautiful pasture and woodland overlooking Lea Brook, with its own private off road car parking area, which leads onto the reception area where a very warm welcome awaits you.
